ID & Sleeper
iD and Sleeper started working together in 2003, recording several tracks for various solo projects. Recognizing their unique chemistry and common musical direction, the need for a full length collaboration became apparent. They self released a demo in 2004, subsequently debuting on Mush Records in 2005 with the album 'Displacement'. iD & Sleeper have teamed with Circle into Square to unveil their long delayed sophomore effort 'With Fixed Hands', which was recorded in 2006, but until now has remained unmastered and unreleased. The duo is currently working on their third record, expected to be out by late 2008.

[Displacement] is pleasantly dense, the kind of record you can listen to repeatedly and not come near scratching the surface. If enough people hear it, this could easily become a touchstone for a new generation of indie hip hop auteurs.
