After 2010’s playful Buggy, Loden (Belgium’s Jolan Koks) returns with his third full length titled "Burning Man Stage Hand". Instead of a record comprised of separate tracks, this album should be seen as one long jam. Many parts were recorded in long direct to disk session and afterwards edited. Beats, field recordings, layers of synths and bass all fight for a place in the spectrum telling a story about hazy memories, people you met and forgot fast, colours and shapes.
Here Loden focuses more on textures and sound. One moment confusing, another moment soothing. It’s an aural trip through every day city life. Like walking with your headphones on, trying to shut out the noise around you, but you can’t.
