Two Ton Sloth is the long awaited collaborative effort between Brad Hamers (Phlegm, 3SC) & Token Recluse's very own PZ.
This is no doubt both PZ's and Brad's most accomplished project to date. It is both diverse and genre-defying... Maybe it's hip hop, maybe it's freak folk....
It was recorded in a series of bedroom studios from apartment to apartment over a two year period. The bulk of it was recorded in NY, but it found itself slowly being sewn shut in Portland, OR. It stands as a testament to all who dare make something out of (next to) nothing. Not that tape recorders, midnight VHS rentals & goodwill keyboards aren't something. But there is something charming & organic in the simplicity of this recording.
