New Artist: Big Pauper
An acclaimed mash-up artist, psychedelic-laden electronic producer, and founder of the abstract hip-hop label Token Recluse, Big Pauper (formerly known as PZ) has toured around the world and recorded as the production half of Two Ton Sloth, a Portland based convergence of poetry and electro-acousticrunk ghost-hop with spoken word cult hero Brad Hamers (of 3SC & Phlegm fame).
Big Pauper is well known for his “Me & THIS Army: Radiohead Remixed & Mashed Up” album, that was downloaded over three million times (a conservative estimate), and his DJ tools that have been used by the likes of A-Trak & Kid Koala.
He's been honing his unique bombastic echoplex-drenched production styles over the years, to the apex of his long awaited "Beyond my Means" full length available in early 2011 via Circle Into Square.
